Dr Onsy Anwar Nathan Kwame Nkrumah A 55-year old man claiming to be the first born son of Dr Kwame Nkrumah, Ghana’s first president, has surfaced. According to an online news website, citifmonline.com, Dr Onsy Anwar Nathan Kwame Nkrumah claims he was born on March 17, 1957; 10 days after Ghana attained independence. According to Dr Onsy Nkrumah, he was born to an Egyptian mother by name Isis Nashid who was then dating Dr Kwame Nkrumah before he got married to Fathia. He said he has been in and out of Ghana for the past 30 years and has now “decided to settle here.” According to citifmonline.com, Dr Onsy Nkrumah was “unveiled” at a ceremony in Accra where several members of the family had come from Dr Kwame Nkrumah’s hometown to praise him for renovatinf and refurbishing the family house which had been in a deplorable state for years. MON-TRAN EXPANDS SERVICES

The Chief Executive Officer of Mon-Tran Ltd., Mr Tony Minkah has said the company would increase its product range by providing an end-to-end Automated Teller Machines (ATM) service to its partner banks by the close of this year. He said in that regard, the company would have a fully compliant vault that would enable them restock ATMs of their partner banks without having access to their safes. Mr Minkah made this known at the commissioning of their new head office that would enable the company expand its business programmes to deliver improved results. He said the company also had plans to establish itself in other countries in the sub-region by the year 2015.
